Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty calls upon community members and businesses to participate in a clothing drive for Reno-Sparks’ Good Shepherd’s Clothes Closet through December 31.
This week kicks off the clothing drive for Good Shepherd’s as the Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty food drive for Project MANA comes to a close. The food drive produced about 300 pounds in food donations and $300 dollars in monetary donations.
The Good Shepherd’s Clothes Closet helps over 28,000 people annually, and the organization is in constant need for clothing, funding, and other invaluable donations their budget can’t accommodate. The main goal of Good Shepherd’s Clothes Closet is to provide clothing to the needy, but the organization also provides baby items and hand-made stockings to children who would otherwise have nothing during the holiday season. Visit www.gsccreno.org for a list of most needed donation items and additional information.
Donations to the Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty clothing drive for the Good Shepherd’s Clothes Closet can be dropped off at any of Sierra Sotheby’s three office locations: 570 Lakeshore Boulevard, Incline Village; 1750 Village East Road, Suite 63B, Olympic Valley; or 210 Elks Point Road, Suite 102, Zephyr Cove.
SSIR is also slated to launch Sotheby’s Cares, a fundraiser where agents donate a portion of their commissions in a lump sum to a charity of their choice at the end of the year.
