Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce the addition of Trina Padden and Sam Drury to their knowledgable real estate team. The real estate power couple founded Padden Properties in 2004, a small boutique brokerage that focused on Northstar and Tahoe’s north shore communities. Both licensed real estate brokers in California and Nevada, the two share a love for the mountain lifestyle that attracts the residents they often serve.
Trina and Sam met at Sunnyside Resort on Tahoe’s west shore, where she worked as a waiter and he as busboy. They’ve been together since 1988 and will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in May 2019.
Trina has been selling real estate in the Tahoe area since 1988 and officially began working as a broker in 2001. Sam’s career in real estate began in 1989 when he worked as a property manager in Tahoe City. A shift to sales soon followed, and he’s been selling homes, land, and condominiums from the West Shore to Truckee ever since.
The couple have been living in the Kingswood neighborhood of North Tahoe for more than 20 years. Trina had lived in some of America’s most beautiful places, but it was Tahoe that ultimately captured her heart. The same could be said for Sam, who relocated to Tahoe in 1988 after years of visiting as a “weekend warrior” from San Francisco. The two frequently work with “tax immigrants,” individuals who leave California for the lesser taxed but equally stunning communities of Incline Village and greater Reno.
Trina is trained in aerial arts and Sam is a self-proclaimed “recovering history and English teacher.” The two also enjoy yoga, mountain biking, skiing as well as spending quality time with their golden-doodle, Apple.
