Jay Margulies was named “Associate of the Year” by Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty. Team Margulies wrapped up a record year after representing the largest land transfer in Nevada history and seeing more than $200 million in sales in 2018, representing buyers and sellers in the Tahoe-Reno market area.
“Jay is the consummate realtor,” said Peter Strand, president of Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty. “From being a salesperson, to software developer, an industry speaker, to having owned his own brokerage, Jay has a depth of experience that is rare. He has a curiosity about how systems work and how to make them better. His suggestions continue to improve our business. His clients are the ultimate beneficiaries and should be assured that they are in great hands.”
Jay Margulies represented Blockchains, LLC. with the purchase of the remaining land at the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center. The history-making purchase involved nine major transactions and 37 separate pieces of land totaling 68,000 acres, which is roughly the size of the entire city of Reno, Nev.
“Having known Jay through the real estate business for 25 years, I am not surprised at his extraordinary success,” said Scott Tieche, managing broker, Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty Incline Village office. “His knowledge and professionalism are exemplified by the team he has built, and their clients know it immediately. I am proud to have Team Margulies part of Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty.”
The team is comprised of Jay Margulies, Dina Margulies, Soni Margulies, Ralph Castelli and Hünter Platte.
“It has been a fantastic year for our team,” said Margulies. “We love the opportunity to introduce and find the right property for those moving to the area for the first time as well as work with our neighbors and friends for all their real estate needs. We are very grateful to live and work in such an extraordinary part of our country.”
